Red Door

The sun is shining, the weather is great! Not much more you can ask for on a hump day!  Primary colors always go so well when they’re paired together, even though sometimes we stop to think that green and red remind us of the Christmas season.  This new green/blue color is great for color blocking.  Although I didn’t do much color blocking here – I did mix in a bit of orange with the lips.  The past few weeks I’ve been living in this blazer! The jersey material is comfortable yet still classic for me to wear to the office, and the color goes so nicely with whites, blacks, blues, reds, oranges, and yellows. What do you think? ~Love C

Fun Brights

Family day is meant for spending time with the fam jam and just hanging out, and I am so happy that my brother is home for Reading Week! – but this year it seemed we all had different things on the agenda! To get out of the house with at least one family member today, my mom, I decided to see if she wanted head for a stroll downtown! The weather is simply amazing and it just made me feel like wearing a fun loving bright color to keep spirits on a high! Hope everyone else is having a great Family Day! ~ Love C

Orange Punch

Rainy days tend to have us leaning towards jeans and sweats, but not for me! There’s something about rainy days where stylish clothes are usually on my mind! I won’t waste a perfectly stylish outfit because of a gloomy day! I could live in these leather leggings, the stretch knit backing and soft lambskin make for an unbelievable snug comfortable fit! Dress these leggins up, as seen here or tone it down with a denim shirt, fur vest and a pop of orange accessories for that every day look! ~ Beijinhos C

Blush.

Heyo my loves! I really do hope the weather starts to warm up so we can get rid of these bulky coats & opaque tights and go bare legs! The thought of  warm weather, sunshine, open toe wedges, shorts, and tanks have started to take over my dreams! Anyways… Details on particular items of clothing are eye catching – which is why when I saw this skirt hanging on the racks in Forever 21, I couldn’t resit it! Although the blush color is classic, the various layers of ruffles and pieces of lace add edge. Mixing it with black, rather than soft tones, helps add that harsh contrast to spice it up. ~ Love C

Print Power

So I have finally decided to mix my prints! Both polka dots and animal print are considered neutral’s in the print world so why not mix them!? To make the outfit more subdued, I opted for pairing my classic black boyfriend blazer and booties, kept accessories to a minimum (one ring, my watch and just a black necklace) to help keep the prints the main focal point.  I love this skirt not only because it’s animal print, but because the peplum trend is so hot right now! What do you feel about mixing prints?
