Pinkie

Loves, I remember the days where flats were ‘not cool’. The days where even to work we would wear the highest shoes possible, and I remember those nights asking myself WHY I did that to my poor feet.  Fast forward 5-6 years and it is very cool to wear comfortable shoes, like these slides. As I slowly switch my shoe closet from Summer to Fall, I notice the amount of slides I own and how cool and effortless they make an outfit.  These pink ones have become an all time favorite and add a pop of colour to any bland outfit. Also, it was only appropriate to shoot in front of a pink backdrop LOL Jeans – Levis ‘Wedgie’ Jean // Jacket – Zara //…

Fall Obsession

Happy Tuesday Babes! Fall is not only about beautifully coloured leaves or switching your iced lattes to hot lattes, it also means sweater weather is here. There’s nothing better to transition us into Fall like a cozy knit sweater, over the knee boots (like these from Le Chateau) and of course a fabulous embroidered skirt. In other words, my Fall obsession.  When I’m not wearing jeans and a knit, you’ll catch me in a skirt and OTK boots. Living in Toronto, our Fall weather can either extremely warm or extremely cold.  However, on the days that are somewhat cool you can most definitely go sans jacket and bare legs.  If you’re lucky enough to live in slightly warmer temps, then you can opt for ankle…

Royal Canin x Lola the Yorkie

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Royal Canin for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine. Yorkies are very intelligent, quick learners and a great ‘guard’ dog, as they are quick to announce when a stranger enters your home.  They’re a lover for comfort and love snuggling on laps, pillows & blankets.  They love to dart after birds, balls & butterflies.  When we decided to get a dog, I knew I needed a dog that was small, hypoallergenic and calm, even though Tiago wanted a big dog.  Although Yorkies are known to be energetic and more of a yappy dog, Lola is quite the opposite, but she’s intelligent, picking up on tricks easily, she’s a great guard dog especially when she…

Get Off My Back

Guys, these days there’s nothing I love more then old school looking sweaters and cabbie hats! To get through almost a week of not washing my hair I resort to a ton of dry shampoo & hats, and I’m really digging these cabbie style caps lately. And yes, when you read I can go almost a week of not washing my hair, you read correctly.  With my new silver-ish locks, it’s not good to wash daily or every other day and I can go basically 5-6 days with the help of dry shampoo. Home Reveal: My Kitchen

Light Fixtures – c/o Wayfair Canada Hey loves! Tomorrow Cityline  will be airing 2 main areas of our home, the rooftop terrace & main floor.  There’s no better way to kick off my sneak peek with my followers then to show you my kitchen! For those who don’t know, Tiago & I bought our first home, a stacked townhouse in Etobicoke, almost 4 years ago. When we were in the design stages of our home, we knew that we wanted a bright home, and that didn’t necessarily mean we wanted lots of ceiling lights but we wanted everything to be light.  In the past, we had dark hardwood and it drove us crazy vacuuming daily to not see dust and dirt, which is why we…
