A little piece of Versace

Saturday was the North American launch for Versace for H&M and while all of you know how long I waited, and might think I’m crazy for doing so, it was well worth it! One of the pieces I picked up was this velvet animal print cropped jacket with the signature Versace logo on the front.  Not something I would typically be drawn to, but there was something about this jacket when I saw it in the window display that I fell in love with.  It was different, it was funky, it was a statement piece, and rather than wearing statement accessories, why not throw on this funky jacket!

Versace for H&M

Saturday was one of the biggest events to ever hit H&M! Why? Because Versace has finally arrived!  Yes, I was one of those people who camped out for Versace, and it was well worth the 19+ hour wait!  At 1:45pm Friday afternoon, I was the first to start lining up at H&M in Yorkdale mall! At first it was a bit awkward, standing there lining up alone, but within a couple of hours others started joining me on the long night! Shimmer + Sparkle

Between holiday parties with friends and family, and holiday work parties, outfits have to be a day to night easy transformation!  I usually love planning my party outfits prior to the engagement that way I am not stressed or rushed on what to wear! I figured this LBD could go from day to night instantly adding the sequin blazer, and removing the opaque tights!

Overcast Brights

What a miserable day it was that it was my goal to brighten it up by wearing purples and pinks! These jewel tones are in for the season, as you can see here, and seemed to have helped with the drowsy weather. There was nothing particularly special about today’s outfit, but when there’s nothing that’s jumping out at me while  I stand in my closet then my go to look has to be bold colors, lots of accessories and an oversize clutch!

Print Fever

Prints are definitely something that’s in this season! Whether it be snakeskin print, leopard print, polka dots, or even houndstooth, each make a statement in their own way!  Today I decided to get wild and wear my snake skin print trousers! Great fall purchase! I can dress it up, as I did at LGFW pairing it with a leather top and blazer, or keeping it simple by throwing on a jean jacket and tank, like I did today!
