Grand Canyon

Hey Loves! Over the Christmas holidays I traveled to Las Vegas with my family! It was such an amazing experience. I had never been to Vegas before so I was one of those crazy tourists with a selfie stick in hand at all times snapping photos of literally everything! There was so much to see and do that I almost thought I didn’t have enough days. I walked to strip many times, went to a Cirque show, saw Steve Aoki perform at Omni nightclub, played slot machines {where I won a bunch of money} and  one of the best and scariest experiences I had was to visit the Grand Canyon! It was the most surreal places I’ve ever visited. I must say this is something…

Breakfast Television

As many of you know I was on Breakfast Television early this morning hosting a segment on Travel Packing Tips & Gadgets! My morning started very early in order to be downtown at 6:30am (obviously with winter weather conditions in the GTA, I had to leave even earlier than expected). Although very nervous when I walked into the studio, I was quickly recognized by a fellow classmate and friend, who helped calm the nerves! As a home stager by day, I knew that yesterday I had to practice how I would set up my table display so that today I was less stressed! Thankfully I did! As the producer briefed me on my segment and I practiced backstage the nerves came back slightly, but there…

Peniche, Portugal

I have had the opportunity to live all over the world, from Singapore to Vancouver to Toronto to England and of course my favorite, Peniche, Portugal! With some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Peniche has definitely been put on the map. Located 45 minutes north of Lisbon, Peniche is well known for its fresh fish and pipeline waves! Home to the Rip Curl Pro Search Tour held annually in October, our waves have been surfed by some of the worlds most famous surfers: Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Owen Wright and many more! Where to Stay: Marriott Praia D’El Rey – This 5 star beach & golf resort is located 15 minutes from Peniche. Hotel Soleil & Hotel Praia Norte – Both these hotels…

Hong Kong – The Bright City

Thanks to my parents, in May 2010 I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Singapore & Hong Kong.  It was my 25 birthday present to bring me back to the city I was born, Singapore, and the one city I traveled to numerous times as a child, Hong Kong.  Like most places in China, Hong Kong is a very crowded city, with never a sleeping moment! Just take a look at the streets at 8:30 pm! As I child Hong Kong had to be my favorite city to fly into! Who would have imagined with all those skyscrapers, airplanes could fit through them! However that has all changed with the new airport that is located approximately 30 minutes away from the city center.  Other…

Peniche Nightlife

One of the things that I miss is Peniche’s nightlife, knowing you can go to a coffee shop or bar and have people around you is a great! My favorite place is Java House! Located in the bustling bar/restaurant district off the Marina in the beautiful coastal town of Peniche, Java House is a unique coffee bar & lounge which exudes comfort. A wood-floor living room atmosphere, furnished with sofas and chairs, and an exposed stone wall which adds a touch of warmth to the room. An intimate, cozy place to pass your morning or afternoon sipping on tasty java drinks. Offering a wide selection of coffees and teas, as well as specialty smoothies, frappes, crepes, and sandwiches made to order. Fresh bread and pastries…
