End of Summer

Summer was non-existent this year but nothing was stopping me from being as bright as possible.  This summer I really taught myself how to reuse a lot of pieces from last year. I wanted to see how many ways I could change up the look of past outfits. One of the only times I shopped was during Summer sales!  That’s where I picked up this amazing gingham ruffled skirt and floral applique sweater.  I’ve realized I’ve worn these two pieces more in 3 weeks then most of the other items in my wardrobe. Whether it be lounging around on the weekend in a bold colored sweater or on Cityline in this exact outfit I knew I had found great pieces that I would actually wear. As a fashion blogger, sometimes we feel the need to have to always buy new pieces to showcase and we forget what we already have.  It was nice to see that the pieces I had from last year were still fashionable and by switching up accessories or shoes we were able to change and update the entire look of the outfit. As we say adios to Summer, I’ll be purging all items I didn’t wear this season, making room for Fall/Winter.
