Breakfast Television: Dress 10LBS Thinner

Hey Babes!! As most of you know I am on Breakfast Television Toronto this morning talking all about how to dress to look 10 LBS thinner! Tips to remember, to help you look 10 LBS thinner instantly are:
1. Know your body type (pear, hourglass, petite, etc) this will help you instantly look 10 LBS thinner
2. Wear the correct size bra, if you are not exactly sure if you are wearing the right size, be sure to visit a lingerie store to be professionally fitted. This will help you look 5 LBS thinner instantly!
3. Make sure you always stand up straight, shoulders back and suck in your tummy!

Look #1: Pear Shape. Wear looser fitting pants, similar to the PJ pant, and a more fitted top/blouse. This will hide your hips and extenuate your upper body which is smaller. You can opt for an aline midi skirt and fitted blouse which will also work wonders on your body. Pair most of your outfits with heels to help elongate your legs. (outfit was head to toe from Le Chateau)

Look #2: Petite.  Wearing a fitted pencil skirt and v-neck tee will help elongate your body. No matter what body type you have I believe that the pencil skirt will elongate and fit all body types.  The v-neck tee will play tricks on the eye and will elongate your torso, especially your chest area! (Skirt was from Danier Leather)

Look #3: Hourglass. Cinching the waist, which is your smallest part, will not only make your curves va va voom, but you’ll be able to define your body shape. (outfit from Costa Blanca)

Look #4: Short torso. By wearing a looser fitted blouse and skinny jeans this will help hide all imperfections on the torso (i.e. tummy & larger bust). By pairing long necklaces & bold heels, this will help draw the eye straight from the face directly to the pump! (outfit head to toe from TNT Fashion)

    Hi there,

I was a little concerned when I watched the fashion segment this morning. You said on several occasions that the models could”hide” certain things about their figures? I thought it would have more beneficial to encourage the ladies to “enhance ” their look by continuing to explain how to wear a certain garment to their advantage! The concept was great, but women should not have to hide any part of themselves, just perhaps learn how to improve their fashion style!
