Warehouse Chic

Recently I was cleaning out my closet trying to find items to give away to those in need, especially with the holiday season around the corner.  While clearing out my shoe section, I realized that I have at least 7 pairs of black booties/boots, you can certain styles see them here, here and here.  I know black is always basic and one of the most worn colors in shoes, but why don’t I sometimes venture out and get a funky pattern or print or even a bright color?  As I look at the summer side everything is bright – especially in the orange & pink tones, yet the winter side is all dark! That’s why when I saw these L.A.M.B. leopard print booties I just knew I had to grab them – not only because they were on sale but because they were on the other side of the spectrum, compared to the rest of my boring black shoes!

Even though my fuchsia shirt is such a statement, not to mention my backless fur vest from the Versace for H&M collection, these booties completed the outfit!

Guh. I was initially going to say I DIE for that vest, but going back and looking at it again, I love every component. That fuschia blouse (the color is uh-MAZING on you), the skinnies, those frigging BOOTS????? And of course the vest. Love the whole thing!!
